Our local businesses are almost always who sponsors local events and we are so thankful!

On Friday, May 16th, a hip hop show is gonna be blowing up at Oil City Beer Company and the Dirty DAHG Productions team is so stoked for it! This event series was started by C-Critt Veda, owner and founder of Hood Ninja Entertainment, to benefit the wonderful non-profit organization, Emily’s Hope. After being invited to have Dirty DAHG artists Half Dead & Guardian Angel perform at the first Hip Hop 4 Hope event, we knew that this event would be something that our Casper, Wyoming peeps could get behind. It was such a great feeling to have the immediate support of Oil City Beer company, and then 4Bidden Leaf reached out to support the cause, the community and the music through sponsorship.

Many people may not realize, but the underground shows and local events are largely made possible because of sponsorships and collaboration with businesses local to the area. Our sponsors are SO important! Local businesses being the ones to sponsor these different local get-togethers should be really important information for everyone to know, because it’s the biggest reason to shop locally whenever possible.

When a consumer spends money in local stores, they are helping to keep money within the community. Think about it — it’s never Wal-Mart giving money to the middle school sports teams. It’s never Target buying advertising in the High School yearbook, and we will probably never see the Dollar General or Walgreens giving back to the community through sponsorship, either.

Tell you what, though – that locally owned grocery store pays attention to the community and events. That Mom and Pop restaurant probably not only employs the local HS kids, but they most likely sponsor their events and fundraisers as well; and in Casper, that locally owned vape shop, 4Bidden Leaf, has sponsored multiple community events within the last year. Locally owned businesses contribute upwards of 250% in donations when compared to their national competitors. (SustainableConnections.org)

What has 4Bidden Leaf done for Hip Hop 4 Hope?

Not only did 4Bidden Leaf give a monetary sponsorship that helped to pay for the productions costs, and marketing for the event, but they are also donating two stellar packages with 4Bidden Leaf goodies to be raffled during the show! (Winners MUST be 21+ for these two packages.) On top of all that, the 4Bidden Leaf team is helping to tell people about the show and allowing us to send people in to get their raffle tickets before the show. Truly, this was a meaningful collaboration and we are so very thankful for 4Bidden Leaf stepping in to help us put together an event to touch the community, highlight talent, and raise money for a worthy non-profit organization, Emily’s Hope.

The Casper community and surrounding areas are lucky to have such a well-grounded and generous locally owned business always looking for ways to enrich the people around them; lucky for them, there’s more coming! <3

 Exciting News for Evansville, WY!

There’s a brand new 4Bidden Leaf coming to your neck of the woods!! Be on the lookout for a new 4Bidden Leaf to be available at 3 N. Curtis St. in Evansville in the near future. In the meantime, anyone in the area can still go on in to the 4Bidden Leaf locations on CY Ave. and on E. 2nd St. for your vaping and smoking needs. Plus, there’s the totally awesome store, Wyo Blown Glass, Smok3Shop Vape + More, on McKinley St. For real, these stores have some REALLY cool stuff. I think my favorite items, though, were the hand blown and locally crafted glass pieces. Although, the incense was delightful, and we noticed that they carry kratom for those who would like to try it amongst other things. The staff were all really friendly and super cool; definitely a place to stop in and check out if nothing else.

Be sure to peep the pictures below for a brief preview of the goodies in 4Bidden Leaf!
