Lots of Congratulations, with a side of Legislation
Today’s podcast has a lot to smile about! We talk a little about legislative updates and an interesting promotion for a prominent public figure in South Dakota. Someone’s business is celebrating a new sign on her business space in Belle Fourche, someone’s business is celebrating 25 years of business in Sturgis, and it all ends with some really fun notes! Maybe the real congratulations goes to you for listening!
Show Notes and Links:
00:40 – Congratulations and Kudos!
We begin with a multitude of good vibes as Genneca outlines several reasons to smile over the course of the last week. In the Black Hills we’ve got remarkable youth helping clean up their community or showing their patriotism through well-written essays. We’ve got businesses winning awards and making improvements. Genneca even talks about community improvements coming to one Black Hills town.
06:20 – Newsworthy News!
Our legislators have been busy, busy bees recently! Both in South Dakota and in Wyoming there are several items on the agenda in the legal arena and Genneca discusses just a portion of it all because… well, because no one has all day to listen to a rockin’ podcast.
But don’t worry, there’s someone to congratulate in the news, too. Although, we’re not sure that everyone is feeling the love on this one. Someone is happy, nonetheless.
14:20 – Get Back To Nature and Celebrate Feeling Better!
Today we get to give congratulations to the wonderful Jodi Harris! She’s the owner of Back To Nature Holistics and Wellness Center in Sturgis and this month they’re celebrating 25 years! Jodi has made a career out of her desire to help others gain affordable health. That’s why she’s now the working with Dirty DAHG Productions to put together Naturally Speaking each week!
But today, we’re talking about the store anniversary and what you can find if you show up. Plus, there are many good reasons to encourage others to go!
28:50 – Because cats probably taste good…
Leaving on a happy note is the best way to end things. Today there’s a special audio featured of Paul Larson performing live in The Country Twins Studio over a year ago. He played and sang a song written by Bill Barroway and it’s called “Coyotes Like Their Cats.” The entire song is on there, so definitely stay listening to the end!
Now, Congratulations goes to you, for making it through another week! Talk to you next week, and thank you in advance for sharing the content!
