The Scene is a weekly podcast that highlights the upper midwest treasure trove of talent by featuring talented musicians, comedians, and artists from the the area. Bubba Startz began The Scene through DBS Entertainment in between traveling to perform his own music across the upper midwest region. You can catch his music by checking out Startz and Endz on social media. (Make sure to give him a follow while you’re there!) Bubba is a very talented musician and genuinely good human. His music is upbeat and wholesome, and his attitude and demeanor are like sunshine. So, it was truly a pleasure to meet Bubba in person last month after years of being social media “friends.”

More than that, though…

Bubba is passionate about building his network in an effort to really rise together as a community. This is EXACTLY what the Dirty DAHG team LOVES to see, especially since it is precisely what our team strives for. That being said, it was an absolute honor to get a short sit-down interview with Bubba at the Four Winds Music and Arts Fest! In addition, Shaelynn, owner of Spectral Siren Art, also got to have a conversation with Bubba as well as Bert Malcolm and others. There were an awful lot of seriously talented people there, so the two part episode from that event is a wonderful listen!
