“Sonder”- 2024
“Trapped”- 2024
What’s on the Canvas?
In the order of placement above, there are the top two featured original art pieces which include “Sonder” and “Trapped.” The word “sonder” is described as the feeling one gets when they realize that every person around them has a complex story and universe surrounding them just as they do. The piece itself is centered around a lady in pink and the setting is dated in the old west. For the month of May 2024, “Sonder” was showcased in Custer SD, in the Art Expressions Gallery and Gifts for their 9th Annual Small Pieces Art Show.
Next to “Sonder” is another piece; “Trapped” is one of several pieces in the portfolio that is based on a dream. The piece depicts a dream centered around an unknown man crying into his own head, inside his head. Dreams provide surreal and complex visuals as well as stories for Shaelynn. She then takes painstaking time to bring the dreams to life as works of art to be shared.
Prints of either piece may be purchased directly from Spectral Siren Art. To inquire simply email spectralsirencontact@gmail.com.

Hand Crafted or Hand Painted
The painted jeans shown above is one of the first pairs lovingly decorated by Shaelynn, with multiple others not shown here. Since then, hand-painted denim clothing and accessories has become a service anyone may commission through Spectral Siren Art.
Masks, as well, are an in demand item from Spectral Siren Art. The most recent having been commissioned by Russ, the artist behind 13 Aliens out of Rapid City, SD. The butterfly mask may be seen in the 13 Aliens live performance video below; it had been crafted specifically for Guardian Angel to wear during a collaborative set for 13 Aliens. Shaelynn, the artist herself, wore the spiked mask featured above during the entire show while filming that for the performance video.

Videography
Short Films, Music Videos, and More…
Below is a collection of videos created by Shaelynn, through Spectral Siren Art. This wheel of original videos includes a live performance video, two student short films, and one film festival winning short film.
The live show video placed at the top features a busier editing style as was the customer’s request. It includes heavy filters and visual effects to create a chaotic punk style. 13 Aliens is known for their highly unique style of artwork through chaos and dissonance, both audibly and visually. The live performance video was meant to reflect that specific style.
“The Elevator,” is a short film produced with a small team. It is another art piece based off of a dream. In true dream nature, it features a chaotic editing and story telling style. A new and improved Elevator short film is currently in the works, with a more fleshed out story and characters. Don’t miss out as the Dreamscape and its stories are brought to life!
“Doctor Disposable”, the next featured short film, is a horror short originally created to be a part of a Halloween special for a high school news channel.
Last but certainly not least to be featured is Bloodshot Boone. Produced for the Wyoming Film Festival, Bloodshot Boone is a comedy short based on the wild west. The challenge for the festival was to write, record, and edit together a short film in three days. As well as the time limit there were three other requirements to contend with. The team needed to use a map as a prop, it was important to keep to the wild west genres, and we were required to use a specific line of dialog. It was a success; “Bloodshot Boone” won in the Wyoming Film Festival for Best Script, .
