2025 was great, but 2026 is going to be even better!

Dirty DAHG Productions has been a part of some pretty awesome events and bookings over the course of this last year. We figure, there’s no point in slowing down at all through 2026!  But just in case you need to catch up with the happenings of all the Dirty DAHG artists, just look below for a look back through the artistry and performances of 2025 for the Dirty DAHG artists.

Doug Phillips began at the beginning of the year as a Dirty DAHG artist after moving into the Black Hills at the end of 2024. A prolific and award winning artist, Doug has been writing, playing and singing music for decades. Both original and cover songs are in this man’s repertoire. He can play multiple instruments, he can sing – and he even produces his own music! Doug played throughout the Black Hills both by himself and with the band “Black Hills Soul! At one point, Doug traveled back home to St. Louis, MO to perform a music tour midway through the year. Doug brings the full band sound as a solo artist, and Black Hills Soul always ignites the event with that fresh funk! We’re so stoked for what 2026 has in store!

Noise in the Barn was playing all over the Black Hills this year. This talented group of artists played that good country and classic rock cover music from Sturgis to Rapid, to Hill City, to Nemo and beyond! They have brought joy to the VFW, and dancing to Volunteer Fire Department events. It’s always a toe-tapping great time and a great reason to go out and dance. Even better, Noise in the Barn is open to be booked for private events and travel up to a certain distance. So many people have smiled over the last year thanks to the musical stylings of this group of talented artists.

Vincent Brechtel, the published author on the Dirty DAHG roster revamped the cover art on his book, Violence In Heaven, over this last year. The website has been created and published for anyone wanting to take a look at what it is about and the man behind the message. Through the efforts of Pasque & Prayrie and talented voice actor, Bill Renn, there are even snippets of the book available to hear now in audio teasers! This beautifully written book has the ability to touch the lives of those who read it and sends a message of hope through adversity as an individual is molded into who he was meant to be by the fires of becoming. Be on the lookout for Violence in Heaven on bookstore shelves near you – or just go get your copy on www.violenceinheaven.com.

Dark Side, the lyrical guerilla and an OG Dirty DAHG artist, has been on a personal hiatus for the last couple of years. There have been shows here and there where he is featured with Half Dead & Guardian Angel sets (wherever we can possibly add him in!). But more shows are coming as Dark Side comes slowly out of hibernation. February 13th, he’ll be breathing fire on the stage for the Hood Ninja Ent. event, the Bloody Valentine’s Show and Costume Contest at Aby’s in Rapid City! He’ll be performing songs that have never been performed live before and it’s going to be such a great night! Plus, we’re hoping to see more of him throughout 2026.

Half Dead & Guardian Angel have been busy performing across multiple states over the 12 months of 2025. In Montana, Idaho, Colorado, Wyoming, and across South Dakota, the duo have been performing shows all over! There will be a photo/video dump coming soon from the different performances, including several featured below. Guardian Angel also expanded her live performances by offering acoustic piano sets for booking around the Black Hills. The duo has also been frequenting the live Open Jam events at Kickstands Campground for over a year now. These events have provided a great artistic outlet and an introduction into a truly wonderful musical community. Keep watch for collaborations with some seriously talented people!

Another major update from 2025 is the removal of Guardian Angel’s teeth. This is big news mainly because of the project born from the struggle. Spectral Siren Art and Dirty DAHG Productions are co-producing a mini docus-series about the struggle to keep from having teeth problems and going to the dentist. The videos will go on the journey with Guardian Angel as she loses her teeth and gets the new ones. There will be interviews with dental professionals and a holistic nutritionist (all experts in their fields), and a few interviews with other wonderful people who have also gone through the struggle.

Shaelynn Houser, owner of Spectral Siren Art and the videographer for the Dirty DAHG Productions team, has been very busy over the last year as well. The services Shae offers through Spectral Siren Art encompass multiple modes of artistry, and then you add the other artistic projects this wonderful young entrepreneur has been participating in and the picture is even more impressive! Shae has been working on art commissions and entries into galleries. She’s been in the process of completing multiple books and scripts for various projects and submissions. Spectral Siren Art has added to the store that supports the art as well; she published her first coloring book, Welcome to Spectral St., and it’s available for purchase through the Amazon. This coloring book is 100% hand-drawn – no A.I. anywhere. There are creative and wonderful t-shirts, mugs, blankets, and more. If online ordering isn’t the preferred way to support young artists, then Shae can usually be found at any event where the stage features Half Dead & Guardian Angel. Check out the online store HERE.

We would also like to send a special Shout-Out to Pasque & Prayrie Co., a women owned Black Hills business with a ton of ways to help out both individuals and businesses with anything from family or professional photos to website and graphic building and design. Tere and Amanda Froelich are a brilliant mother/daughter duo with an expanse of experience and skills betwixt the two; they’re such amazing and talented people. They’re dedicated to their clients, and honestly – these two lovely women have been an absolute blessing for the Dirty DAHG team to call on.

There has been so much going on over the last year and it’s left too much to share in a quick recap. But before we continue moving forward, and HUGE thanks goes out to every individual that has come out in the last year to support our Dirty DAHG artists and events. Thank you for supporting our musical homies from Hood Ninja Ent, and for showing love to our artistic production partners, Spectral Siren Art and Pasque & Prayrie Co.; our community is the best and it’s because of all the wonderful and supportive people involved. Thank you!
